With free motion quilting designs we can create stunning quilts. Follow the template pattern from the bottom left up the left side, then back down on the right side. Follow the pattern again repeat as many times as you like. You can easily substitute other fabrics and many of Janet's collections will work very well. Slide the template to the right keeping the foot inside the pattern until it is back at the beginning. Unfortunately we no longer have the fabrics available and they maybe hard to source. This quilt was originally made using fabric from Janet's Geometry collection from 2020. My quilt features fabrics from my 'Geometry' collection for Moda. The pattern guides you through cutting your fabric, preparing and piecing the blocks, and includes notes on preparing the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding. Detailed block diagrams show the exact arrangement of fabrics and lots of supporting photographs, mean you can confidently re-create my design. The navy triangles and diamonds punctuated with vibrant green lead the eye to meander around the quilt – hence the name! 'Meander' is an eye-catching design which while initially appearing to be quite random, follows a specific geometric form. You can even baste the layers of your quilt together on certain quilting frames.This is a downloadable copy of the pattern. The quilting frame holds your quilt flat and keeps the layers even.
